And More!

Order of Merchants is proud to initiate its first webinar in a continuing series covering the subject of the Uniform Commercial Code.

The progression will be from UCC Article I through Article 9 and also propose some of the many uses of the UCC-1 Financing Statement, accounting and reporting for the filing of the UCC-1/UCC-3, pledging financing statements to achieve secured loans, selling financing statements, and so forth. This webinar is decreed appropriate for students of all stature whether beginner, intermediate, or advanced in their commercial study.

We recommend going to the Cornell Law website to view and print Article I of the Uniform Commercial Code along with researching your state law to find and print the codification of the UCC that applies to your state.  A Black’s Law Dictionary (or other law dictionary of worthy repute) and an open window displaying etymonline.com will also come in very handy to all participants during the event.

Think of commerce as a global card game. The better you know the rules of the game, the better you play, and, if you are not having fun, you are not doing it right!
